Hey Ash,
Mel found the view itself quite inspirational. For me, as nice as it was, I found inspiration in being away from responsibility and by following/ticking off my daily lists. And maybe knowing that once enough writing was done, I could treat myself to a walk among the view :)

I could also mention chocolate.

It was definitely productive (and fun) and I am keen to schedule it in again next year, maybe with a larger group.
